Quilt / Blanket Making

The blankets will be donated to abandoned children.

Create a blanket to be given to an abandoned child. The participants will make squares. Choose an animal, cut out the fabric shapes from their chosen material and hand sew it to the white square background. The squares will be taken away to a quilter who will put the blanket together and then donate it to an abandoned child. You will be sent a picture. Please note that according to regulations the child face will not be in the picture. Please see attached previous blanket donation picture. The proposed will foster togetherness and encourage “being part of”. It will create lasting memories and be a positive way to gear up and start your year as a team. It includes a brief debrief where we can pull learning from the day.
